Word of advice if you are going to start a double knit project keep in mind it is like to making two projects and takes about the same time as making two. Also your gauge will be different so consider that if you going to make your own design. I found that when I started the skull hat that I was making a cowl instead of the hat because I figured the pattern using the gauge I usually get when using worsted weight and size 4 needles. Now I am on my way to start a pair of fingerless gloves to match the red and black in the set.
