Using kitchener stitch

I have decided to try using the kitchener stitch to seam shoulders.  On this baby sweater it has seemed to work very well.  There is no seam on the inside and it looks like a continuous piece of knitting.

There was also a hood and I joined the seam using Kitchener stitch. This is how it turned out you can not really see where I joined the stitches of the row.  This hood was added to the neckline and worked back and forth on a circular needle. When I reached the desired length I equally divided the stitches on the needle and pulled the stitches up to the ends of the needle and worked the Kitchener stitch to join.
